Here the nose isn’t quite as elegant as the Griotte as there is plenty of sauvage character but otherwise the red and dark berry fruit

The bouquet here is nuanced and delicate with an evident mineral signature that is followed by ever-increasingbut extremely elegant throughoutberry fruit and blue flower aromas

I very much like the sense of energy to the well-detailed and solidly concentrated broad-shouldered flavors that also need to develop more depth but the underlying material is present such that this should be able to add complexity

There's more austerity to this wine than in most vintages

This allows them to do different viticulture

Berthaut-Gerbet, Echezeaux other_regions Here the nose isn’t quite(from a . 20 ha holding in Les Treux, Quartiers de Nuits and Champs Traversin; 60% whole clusters). An exuberantly floral suffused nose speaks of both red and dark berries, Asian style tea and soft spice nuances. The succulent, round and equally caressing medium bodied flavors also culminate in a youthfully austere, firmly structured and balanced finale. Once again at least some patience will be necessary as this is presently quite tightly wound.
